Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and technically proficient Project Manager with a strong background in web application development, cloud services (specifically AWS), and extensive experience in the healthcare domain, including strict adherence to HIPAA regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to deployment and post-launch support, ensuring projects are delivered on time to the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of strong project management methodologies, technical understanding, and a deep appreciation for the unique complexities and compliance requirements of the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of web application development projects for our healthcare client.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry best practices.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for web applications, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, UX/UI designers, and business analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports, communicating effectively with internal teams, client stakeholders, and senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the client, acting as the primary point of contact for project-related matters.
- Facilitate effective communication channels between all project stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of requirements, expectations, and progress.
- Negotiate and resolve conflicts, ensuring successful project outcomes while maintaining positive client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a significant portion dedicated to web application development.
- 3 years of direct experience managing projects within the healthcare industry.
- Possess an understanding of modern web application development technologies and architectures (e.g., front-end frameworks like React; back-end technologies like Python; databases).
- Understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture principles.
- Proven experience with HIPAA-compliant projects and a deep understanding of healthcare data security and privacy regulations.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional project management frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Be able to engage in technical discussions with development teams, understand technical challenges, and contribute to solution design.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a strong attention to detail.
