About the role

This is a full-time position, working in the Healthcare Insurance Industry, responsible for building the Business Intelligence (gathering, interpreting, analyzing and visualizing large and complex datasets to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making within the organization), with knowledge of Machine-readable Files (MRF), to support a solution for Pricing Information Published under the Transparency in Coverage (TiC) Final Rule.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst with expertise in PowerBI, Azure, Snowflake and Healthcare Insurance to join our team.

The ideal candidate will work in an Agile environment, contributing to the architecture, design, implementation and testing of Business Intelligence in the Healthcare Insurance Industry. This role involves hands-on coding and collaboration with multi-disciplined teams to achieve project objectives.

Qualification & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres).
  • Experience with data warehousing (Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, Databricks) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Neo4j, Cassandra).
  • Programming in Python for data cleansing, transformation, and visualization.
  • Expertise in Power BI for interactive dashboards and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and database design principles.
• Preferred Certifications:
  • Azure Fundamentals, Power BI Data Analyst, SnowPro Advanced Data Analyst.

• Data Management & Analytics: Expertise in data modeling, database design, and warehousing, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Technical Skills: Strong SQL, Python, Azure, and NoSQL database knowledge (MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j).
• Software Development & Agile Practices: Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins).
• Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail: Ability to identify data issues, optimize performance, and derive actionable insights.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Effective communication with cross-functional teams and the ability to lead initiatives in an agile environment.
• Continuous Learning: Staying updated with emerging trends in data analytics and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Data Preparation & Analysis: Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze data to extract insights, using SQL, Power BI, and Python.
• Data Visualization & Reporting: Develop interactive dashboards and real-time business intelligence reports for stakeholders.
• Data Governance & Quality Assurance: Implement data validation checks and ensure data integrity.
• Business Insights & Decision Support: Identify patterns, trends, and KPIs to drive strategic business decisions.
• Collaboration & Agile Development: Work within an Agile team, coordinating with data engineers, DevOps, and business analysts to optimize data-driven solutions.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging data analytics trends and tools to enhance reporting capabilities.
